OEM Dashboard Roles for Host OTA Jobs

Roles specify the access levels (or permissions) a user has to various dashboard views and functions. When creating Host OTAOver-the-Air jobs in Ayla's IoT Command Center, the following permissions are available:

  • Read - allows view-only access.
  • Write - allows editing capabilities, but not the ability to run files.
  • Execute - allows the ability to run files.
  • Delete - allows the ability to delete files.

For OTA jobs, the OEM roles listed below may be granted the permissions specified:

OEM Admin
  • Manage OTA jobs (create, edit, clone, and delete)
  • Run OTA jobs
  • Schedule OTA jobs
OEM Staff
  • Create, clone, edit, and save OTA jobs (but cannot schedule, run, stop, or delete jobs)
  • Create filters (but cannot delete)
  • Create images (but cannot delete)
OEM Support Engineer
  • Create, clone, edit, and save OTA jobs (but cannot schedule, run, stop, or delete jobs)
  • Create filters (but cannot delete)
  • Create images (but cannot delete)
OEM Support Manager
  • Create, clone, edit, and save OTA jobs (but cannot schedule, run, stop, or delete jobs)
  • Create filters (but cannot delete)
  • Create images (but cannot delete)
